About the Role:

Responsibilities:
- Design and decorate custom cakes for various occasions.
- Utilize various icing techniques and decoration styles to create visually stunning desserts.
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill customer orders and special requests.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure food safety standards.
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of cake decoration supplies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to enhance cake design skills.
- Provide exceptional customer service and engage with customers to understand their needs.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for menu development and seasonal offerings.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a cake decorator or in a similar role within a bakery.
- Strong artistic skills and attention to detail in cake design and decoration.
- Knowledge of various cake decoration techniques and tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards customers.
- Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays.
- Food handler's certification is a plus.
- Passion for baking and a commitment to quality and excellence.
